For nearly six years, East County Rising has worked tirelessly to shift the balance of power to a more inclusive and forward-thinking coalition championed by women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC leaders. ECR has launched its 2024 Endorsement Process for the 2024 Primary Elections in Oregon, with aspiring candidates having until January 13, 2024, to submit their completed endorsement questionnaires. Successful candidates will be notified in early February 2024, with public endorsements announced in early March 2024.
East County Rising’s endorsements promise to shape a more inclusive political landscape in East Multnomah County. From 2018 to 2022, previously endorsed candidates had a win rate of 86% (68/79), and a majority of them have been women or people of color. The ECR Action Fund & PAC will support those who share the same vision, providing endorsed candidates with resource allocation, financial support, communication assistance, and campaign volunteers.
