2024 PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS
We convened our board and community leaders from East Portland, Gresham, Corbett, Fairview, and Wood Village who conducted candidate interviews and evaluated campaign plans. East County Rising is proud to endorse a slate of qualified and diverse candidates across all levels of public office in East Multnomah County. These leaders are committed to equitable and effective solutions to our challenges, and will advance opportunities for all our residents.
Public policy decided by our elected officials often have an immense impact on people of color, working class, and LGBTQ members of our community who most depend on strong social services. Voting is an essential way to protect our families and build power for our communities.
At East County Rising, our mission is clear: to empower East Multnomah County by reshaping our government to better reflect our progressive and diverse communities. We challenge the status quo, striving for a future led by candidates who will fight for women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC individuals. Join us in supporting candidates who will champion change and advocate for a brighter future for all.
